Unbranded Violin or Fiddle Circa 1850-1880 which came with a 'Through Neck'. The violin was converted to the modern mortice style neck and the neck length was extended from 125mm to the modern 130mm length. The modifications to the neck root will be shown in the photos.

The violin came to us in a poor state, the violin unfortunately was sanded down and in disrepair. The violin was taken apart, top and back plate re-graduated. A new slab style bass bar installed, new set of bushings installed, and neck angle corrected. The violin was also re-varnished due to the damage inflicted from a previous owner.
The violin was nicknamed 'Doberman' due to the coloration pattern when we received the violin.
The violin is now in a perfect performance ready state.
