This single owner violin has now had time to settle and is crack free. (If a violin is going to develop a crack, it's typically within the first 5 years of construction.)
Mr. Cundall numbers his violins and add an additional '1' in front of the number he as made. This is the 107th violin he's constructed (numbered 1107), he's currently at about 140 made.
Here's some information about the violin model "C" directly from Mr. Cundall:
"The C model violin is the first of three original models I developed in the 1990’s. There is the C, the C1, and C2. The C is a little smaller in dimensions, the C1 is wider, and the C2 is between the C and C1. The model was developed as an amalgamation of a Carlo Bergonzi model and G B Guadagnini.
This particular instrument is the 107th instrument I made. It was completed in 2013 according to my records. The varnish consists of walnut oil, amber, and terpene resin."
The violin has been reviewed from the finger board, to the sound post to ensure the violin is performance ready, and set up properly for the player.
The violin does come with a case and bow. Bow does need a re-hair, and has been priced accordingly.
