THIS POSTING IS MORE ABOUT SHARING PHOTOS AND INFO ABOUT SUCH A RARE BOW - not for sale unless there's a extremley great offer, however if I did sell it would be in an auction setting.
I have not found any others for sale OTHER than a 3/4 size that was already sold. We located two others.
One is in "The Met" museum, the other is a round bow in a private collection. I've included some screen shots from research I've done, I hope you enjoy this experimental piece of history!
This bow happens to be octagonal and a lower serial number than the collector's which is a round shaft.
Vintage antique violin bow stamped Lomonal violin bow, approx 54.87 grams.. Please see photos and YouTube video demo for details.
