'The Meisel' a bench made violin by a 9th Generation Violin maker from the Meisel violin making dynasty.
Peace of mind purchasing, returnable within 7 days of delivery.
It's a time capsule of sorts, the violin looks brand new, for being 60 + years old. The violin states it's #30 and made in 1960 by Kurt Lothar Meisel.
The violin was recently serviced at a highly reputable violin shop in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas metroplex. I'm happy to share the name of the shop if you wish for a 3rd party to verify the violin.
The violin appears to have the original bow that came with it, it also appears to have the original bridge and Fine Tuner which was taken off and a new one used, as photographed. The original find tuner did not fit the loop end string well, and caused the tailpiece to move to an odd angle. A ball end E string may work just fine with the original tuner if desired.

The violin does have a repaired saddle crack as shown.
There are 4 maker stamps inside the violin.
I'm happy to answer any questions.
Thank you for taking your time to view the violin.
Play on my friends!
