There is some touch up areas where the shoulder rest attaches on the bottom plate. Most people would not notice, just fully disclosing everything. It's not visible past 5 feet, but can be seen up close and does not impact playable or sound quality. It was simply caused by someone using a worn out shoulder rest. (See photos)

Every Millimeter matters, and is crucial on a violin. One millimeter difference on the bridge height, or string height, makes the difference between an effortless playing violin, or one that's difficult and hard to play.
