It comes with the appraisal from a reputable violin shop owner. The appraisal will be provided upon sale. The violin was confirmed to be a Neuner and Hornsteiner and has an appraised value of $6,500.00 USD.
This violin is remarkable similar to a violin in the Mittenwald museum in Germany, if you get a chance to compare.
It appears to have the date Sept. 1884 inscribed on the treble C-bout.
