About Ivan and Bonev Violins:
Ivan has been making violins, violas, cellos, and other instruments since 2009.
He has become a multi award winning maker. His violins are now being played by professional orchestra members, and most recently a professional fiddler.
Ivan, of Bonev violins was a little known maker, through his work and success has become respected and sought after violin maker by professionals of all genres. He continues to perfect his work, at times finding success with unique bass bar configurations. He has studied under many makers and contacts through The Violin Maker's Association of Arizona International (VMAAI) along with sharing bench time with many modern makers. He even finds time to mentor and help new makers coming into the violin making world.
About Catherine our violinist:
Catherine is a classically trained violinist and attended 2 prestigious Universities in Texas. She recently attained her Masters Degree in Music and hold an Orchestra certification. She plays professionally with a popular local music group, she plays in a professional orchestra, as well as teaches violin. As if that was not impressive enough, she also is versed in playing fiddle!
