This violin has a repair date of 1894. You can see it's been played very much throughout the years - that's a great sign the violin has an excellent tone. This violin has impressed every professional that has picked it up, from an esteemed college director, a violinist with their Masters' Degree, to a professional fiddler. They all kept going back to this beauty.

The violin experts believe this violin hails from Bohemia, Germany (Saxony), or Czechoslovakia.
It has new strings Il Cannone. Comes with the case and bow in the photos.
The neck has been properly adjusted to the right height and overstand. In the process the neck was discovered to be grafted at the neck root. So the neck appears to have been replaced during its life.
